In 1973 Alkem Laboratories was Founded.Alkem’s first plant was established at Taloja, Mumbai in 1978.In 1988 Established the Kachigam manufacturing facility in Gujarat.In 2002 another manufacturing plant Amaliya ,Gujarat was established and incorporated with Indo Propkem in the same year. In 2003 R&D facility for ANDA development at Taloja. In Himachal pradesh the Baddi manufacturing facility and Mandwa API facility was Established in 2005. In 2007 Filed the first ANDA in the US and established manufacturing facility in Rangpo,Sikkim. In 2010 According to IMS company ranked No 7 in the indian pharmaceutical Industry. In 2011 Obtained generic marketing company in US and also crossed revenue of USD 500 million
