Composit uses/ indication of Plastules Folic :

Iron-deficiency anemia, and various salts or complexes of iron are used as hematinics, including iron dextran, Iron , polysaccharide, i. sorbitex, and Iron sucrose. Hemochromatosis is an inherited disease in which too much iron builds up in your body. Breastfeeding Warnings,Pregnancy

Anaemia, Coeliac disease, Folate-deficient megaloblastic anaemia, For prophylaxis in chronic haemolytic states or in renal dialysis, For prophylaxis in pregnancy, Haemolytic anaemia, Megaloblastic anaemia, Myelofibrosis, To prevent 1st occurrence of neural tube defect, To prevent recurrence of neural tube defect, Vitamin deficiency

Vitamin B12 deficiency, Neuropathies, psychiatrics disorders, cutaneous sarcoid, Tobacco amblyopia - hydroxocobalamin is of some benefit.

Composit contra indication of Plastules Folic :

Hypersensitivity.

Composit side effects of Plastules Folic :

cardiac chest pain, Pain at injection site, pigmentation of skin, sterile abscess. Fever, headache, joint pains, chest pain, flushing, palpitation, difficulty in breathing, anaphylactic reactions, lymph node enlargement. Stomach upset, nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, black or darker than normal appearing stools.

Neuropathy, Bronchospasm, Itchy skin eruptions, Malaise, Status epilepticus. Anorexia, Erythema, Itching, Skin rash.

Headache, Diarrhea, Nausea and vomiting, Red urine, Pain at injection site.

Composit caution of Plastules Folic :

Keep this medication out of the reach of children. An accidental overdose of iron for a child can lead to death. Do not take this medication if you have too much iron builds, iron overload disorder, hemolytic anemia.

Patients with history of long-term infection, seizure disorder, liver problems and kidney dialysis.

Patients with history of any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
