Abrasion, Burns, Canker sores, Insect bites, Otitis externa, Otitis media, Pruritus, Rectal fissures, Rectal pain, Sore throat, Toothache. | |
Advanced ovarian cancer, Inflammation, Lung cancer, Oropharynx. | |
Toothaches, when applied to the skin, Joint, muscle and nerve pain, when applied to the skin, Lung problems, when breathed in (inhaled). | |

Bacterial infections, Opthalmologic anaesthesia. | |
Hypersensitivity to any component of product. | |
Children, Pregnancy and breast-feeding. | |
Composit side effects of OTOWAX : | |
Angioedema, Sinus bradycardia, Sinus tachycardia, Seizures, Methemoglobinemia, Dizziness, Anxiety, Restlessness, Urticaria, Burning, Drowsiness, Tremor, Contact dermatitis, Tenderness, Urethritis, Headache, Photosensitivity, Edema, Stinging on application. | |
Unconsciousness, Respiratory depression, CNS depression, Hypersensitivity reactions. | |
Headache, sleeplessness, coughing, bleeding in the lungs, vomiting, kidney damage, brain damage, coma, and death. | |
Composit caution of OTOWAX : | |
Elderly, debilitated, child. Epilepsy, impaired cardiac conduction or resp function, shock or hepatic impairment. Myasthenia gravis. Avoid: Contact with middle ear; prolonged use or application on extensive areas of the skin. Avoid eating or drinking for at least 3-4 hr after the anaesthetic; rubbing or touching the eye while anaesthesia persists. The anaesthetised eye should be protected from dust and bacterial contamination. Chemical burns must be neutralised before treatment with benzocaine. Pregnancy. | |
Used with caution because high concentration may cause cardiac failure and polycythemia. | |
