An antipsychotic drug which is mainly used to treat schizophrenia (including adolescent schizophrenia), schizoaffective disorder, the mixed and manic states associated with bipolar disorder, and irritability in people with autism.
Idiopathic Parkinsonism. Drug induced extrapyramidal symptoms. Trigerminal neuralgia.

Hypersensitivity. Pregnancy and lactation.

Parkinsonism, Ventricular tachycardia, Neuroleptic malignant syndrome, Torsades de pointes, Hypotension, Lethargy, Somnolence, Muscular rigidity, Dizziness, Headache, Fatigue, Nausea, Vomiting, Anxiety, Constipation, Insomnia, Abdominal pain, Blurred vision, Rashes, Photosensitivity, Urinary incontinence, Rhinitis, Agitation, Increased intracranial pressure.
Dryness of the mouth, blurred vision, dizziness, nausea, vomiting and nervousness. Blindness may occur if it is used in patients with increased eye pressure. Memory loss, weight loss, restlessness and sleep alterations.
|Composit caution of KRISP-T :|
Preexisting CV diseases, discontinue use if signs and symptoms of tardive dyskinesia occur, renal and hepatic impairment, elderly, epilepsy, parkinsonism, pregnancy. May cause drowsiness and orthostatic hypotension. Gradual withdrawal is recommended. Monitor blood glucose in diabetics and patients at risk of developing diabetes.
Obstructive disease of GI or genitourinary tracts. In elderly males with possible prostatic hypertrophy. Liver and renal disorders. Pregnancy and lactation.
