Indication
Long-acting injection given to individuals with schizophrenia, low doses as an antidepressant.
Contra Indication
Hypersensitivity, overactive patients, mania, blood disorder, coma, preexisting central nervous system depression, bone-marrow depression, and breastfeeding.
Caution
Patients with history of epileptic disorder, heart, liver, lung, or kidney disease, elderly, increased eye pressure, urinary retention, breast cancer, tumor, prostate enlargement, breast cancer, parkinsonism, myasthenia gravis, during pregnancy.
Side Effect
Rigidity, tremors, restlessness, tardive dyskinesia, sleeplessness, dryness of mouth, weight gain, sexual dysfunction, spontaneous milk secretion, and menstrual disturbances.
