Hypomagnesaemia, Myocardial infarction, Ventricular tachycardia.
Peptic ulcer.

Contra Indication

Renal failure, Atrioventricular block.

Caution

Diabetes patients must be cautious of the sugar contained in several magnesium preparations.Should be given with caution in renal impairment and myesthenia gravis.

Side Effect

Hypotension, Flushing, Respiratory arrest, Cardiac arrest, tendon reflexes, Hypermangnesemia, Diarrhea, Abdominal cramps.
Nausea, Vomiting, Rashes, Muscular weakness, Itching, Hives. Diarrhea, Constipation, Stomach upset.
